  • Welcome. We are Brisbane's only female personal trainer studio. We are a little bit more conservative than a lot of other trainers. We focus more on getting your posture and alignment correct and toning those areas where it will improve your every day life. In other words we don't do boxing, skipping and cardio as a quick fix.

    We believe that a toner, fitter and healthier body starts with correct posture. From there your movement and exercise happens with ease.
  • If you are not fitter, leaner and stronger by the end of our 8 week programmes. Money back guaranteed. You will be re-energised and full of vigour.
  • We believe that you need a well-balanced exercise program and we are not your 100% solution. We are just a small part of your weekly program. A woman needs an array of movement activities. Such as fluidity (pilates or yoga), she needs something percussive (walking, cycling, swimming or rumba) and she needs some resistance and power.
  • 2-3 hours concentrated effort a week covering movements that are fluid, percussive and strong is all that we advocate. Plus a sensible diet. This does not mean a caloric deficit diet. We have an array of dieticians that our ladies use and we can recommend some great pilates and yoga teachers.
  • If you start any type of movement (hinge, bend, reach, twist) in the wrong position then the results will be quite different than if you were to start it in the correct position. We can show you how to start any movement (exercise pattern) in the correct position and from there your movement starts to flow.

STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Power and Resistance

Be trained by an accredited female Australian weightlifting coach. There is no need to feel intimidated, as she teaches you correct alignment, technique and form. All we want is for you to lift, pull, press and squat with correct alignment and proper technique.

HIGH INTENSITY CARDIO

Interval Training

Have you ever experienced cardio on just a yoga mat? That's right our heart-pumping, calorie burning extravaganza happens for only 25 minutes and you do not move off that yoga mat. Expect to burn up to 500 calories within that 25 minutes.

POSTURAL ALIGNMENT

Our certified ASTON Kinetics © practitioner will assess your current posture for areas of weaknesses. To ensure that when you train with us, our team of women fitness experts understands what needs toning, and what needs lengthening.



WE DON'T TRY TO BE ALL THINGS TO EVERY WOMAN

We are specialists in our respective fields and as such we have obvious strengths and weaknesses. Below are groups of women that find us more beneficial than others. In essence, we don't interfere with the existing boot-camp mentality and TAFE qualified personal trainers paradigm. There is certainly a need for these types of programs, but what we offer is more mature and holistic approach to women's fitness and female personal training in Brisbane.

POST MENOPAUSAL

Our approach to women in their 50's is completely unique. In the sense that apparently when women hit 50, their legs become accidental and machines become essential. We feel that women in their 50's are just as capable than women in their 30's. Just because you hit 50, does not mean that you are 90. We don't encourage or reinforce the dreaded posterior tilts that machines put you in. You will still exercise on two feet - whether you are 50, 60 or 70.


OSTEOPOROSIS

We are lucky to have on our team an Australian Weightlifting Coach. She is well known around Brisbane as the lady who reverse's osteoporosis. She runs several classes a week for men and women who suffer from osteo-related type diseases. This includes typical weight bearing exercises that bone will adapt to. ATHLETES

Lisa, our accredited Australian Weightlifting Coach is also an Olympic weightlifter herself. She is also the assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for Queensland Fire. So for you budding athletes out there if you need any assistance with strength, power or conditioning - you'll be in good hands. Not only will you will learn to train like elite athletes, she will coach you on how to behave like one.


HEALTH AND FITNESS

In essence, this could cover every woman out there! But we try not to. We do not cater well for the 20 year old Lorna Jane model. We find that you are yet to experience a whole array of services out there (such as boot-camps, park personal training, boxing, skipping, knee-bends, crappy gym memberships and bicep curls). Basically, all of the joy had gone from exercising and lifting weights had become a chore. Something had to change, and I came across Lisa on the internet. In our first session she explained how this wasn't necessary and how great results can be achieved in just 2 gym sessions a week. With her excellent instruction Lisa soon had me back at the gym focusing on improving performance and getting stronger. Although I admit that at first I did have doubts about the decreased volume of work, I am pleased to say that after 12 weeks I am stronger than I have ever been and can feel my body composition changing. I often receive comments at the gym on how heavy my weights are!
